This is a cause for CELEBRATION!!!

Can anything good come from three sick kids and fall break and not leaving the house for a week?  I thought I was going to go insane, but something fantastic came from it. . .our little Louie is potty trained!!!  She caught on so fast and we are so proud of her.  She stays dry all night and lets us know when she needs to go.  We don't have to keep bugging her about it.  I have not had a break in diapers or pull-ups since Caden was born (6 years ago) so this feeling is an awesome feeling!  And little girl panties are so stinking cute.

A funny potty training story:
In the beginnning of potty training I had Jaicee run around the house naked cuz if she felt anything against her she would feel like it was ok to just go.  I heard her and Carter go into the bathroom and Jaicee saying "go potty momma, go potty momma."  So I went into the bathroom to find Carter peeing and Jaicee standing by him grabbing her part down there trying to go like Carter was.  She couldn't figure out why she couldn't go like Carter was.  I laughed and laughed.  She was so determined.

Halloween Carnival

My sister's kids were on fall break this last Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and both parents were working so they stayed with us for the week.  After taking a trip to the Halloween store in Rock Springs, we attended the school Halloween party on Saturday.  Carter spent the weekend in McKinnon, that's why he isn't in any pictures.  He, however, got to go elk hunting with his best buddy Stetson.  They rode the dead elk and played in the ditch and put their boots down a badger hole.  I wish I had pictures of the two of them.  Here are some pictures of the carnival.

Jaicee (Tink), RyLee (Spider Witch Princess), Ryker (Zombie Ghostface), Caden (Batman)

This is Carter when he got home.  He spent all weekend at my parent's house watching 8 Seconds.  He said his name is "Lane Frost Carter" (yes, we have to call him that) and his buckle says "Lane Frost I'm a real Bull Rider".  This is him doing his Lane Frost wave from the movie.  He is a nerd but we get a good laugh out of him.

Pictures I finally got off my phone.

I have had some pictures on my phone of this summer and some trips with the kids that I haven't been able to get on my new computer and I finally have an app that does it for me! :)  Gotta love smart phones.  Here are some random pics I wanted to share:

These three pics are from the fair this summer.  The one clown at the fair did free face paintings.  This is what the boys got.  Carter wouldn't hold still to be in the picture.

Lou got a cute pink and orange butterfly.
Then it was off to the carnival.  Carter was only tall enough to ride the kid rides so Caden was sweet enough to ride them with him.  We spent a couple hours just watching the boys go around and around.

Then we decided before Caden started school that we would take one last trip somewhere.  We didn't go far.  We went and spent the night in Ogden and took the kids to the Treehouse Museum.  We went and ate and this is what you get:

The joys of kids being on the same potty schedule!

This is at the museum.  They have literally 30 rooms in a different theme and costumes in every room so the kids can dress up.  This is President Steen.

 Princess Jaicee

This was the kids favorite room.  The Hero room.  There were firefighter costumes, cops, astronauts, army, etc.  It was so cute.

 I love this picture!

Making a dinosaur movie.

 Walking down the tree house.

Carter's favorite room:  the rodeo room!

Daddy and Cart milking the cow.

Then the boys saved the day as firefighters.

Then we sat and ate some sushi that Jaicee cooked for us.

Then we got to sit down while Jaicee served an awesome tea party with cake.

Now that school has started, we found an awesome Master that does TaeKwon Do at the school just up from our house.  $30 for lessons two nights a week through December and that fee included the uniform.  Caden loves it.  He is seriously a natural at it.  He gets the moves and takes it very serious.  We are so proud of him.

Caden loves to cuddle with his new dog, Thor.
And finally, the twins hanging out while Caden is at school.

Party time!

This year Caden is going to a new school and has made tons of new friends.  So when planning his birthday party I asked him what he wanted to do.  His exact words, "I want a friend party with boys only and no parents.  And you and Dad stay downstairs and we'll call you if we need you."  He's already embarrased of us!  After much contemplation. . .and wanting his preschool girlfriend to be at his party, he decided to invite girls as well.  We sent out over 20 invites, most of which were blank and Caden handed them out at school.  I wasn't sure who all we were going to get and I had kid's moms RSVPing and had no clue who they were, but I thought the more the merrier!  So here's how the day went:

While Caden was at school, I spent the day baking boiling and decorating!

This is Thor.  Caden's birthday present from us.  He is half American Eskimo half Shiba Inu.  We got him three weeks ago and we love him.  He is a good companion for Sage.

Just got home from school.  Daddy surprised him by picking him up!

He got to open Mom and Dad's present when he got home.

And then we had 16 kids running around our house for a spooky Halloween party!

Mom wasn't wanting to attempt a ghost cake this year so I just did cupcakes.  This is all of the herd singing happy birthday.

My husband was responsible for taking pictures during the gross food game and the pinata, but he failed to take any so that is the extent of the party pictures.  Oh well!  We all had fun!
